• Maida (all-purpose flour)- 2 cup
• Ghee- ½ Cup
• Sugar – 2 cup
• Elaichi Powder-1pinch
• Salt – ½ pinch
• Food color- a little
• Oil to fry-6 Tbsp
• Dry fruits -2 Tbsp


  1. In a pan take 2 cups sugar, add 1 cup water and Elaichi powder, and heat the mixture to medium heat till the syrup is ready (see Video)
  2. Prepare dough, In a bowl add maida, Ghee and add water slowly and add a little food color and kneed (see Video)
  3. Repeat the process and make a ball (see Video)
  4. Fry these balls at low to medium heat (see Video)
  5. Dip these balls in sugar syrup. keep for some time and drain extra syrup
  6. Decorate these Balusais with Dry fruits
  7. Delicious sweet Balusai is ready to eat and enjoy
