INGREDIENTS FOR APPLE POTATO SUBJI

• Apple-1 ½ cup
• Potato-3
• Onion-1
• Oil-2 tbsp
• Red Chili Powder-1 Tsp
• Turmeric- ½ Tsp
• Cumin seed- 1 Tsp
• Bay leaf-2
• Clove-4-5
• Big Elaichi (Black Cardamom) -2
• Salt -1 Tsp ( to taste)
• Ginger- 1 small piece ( grated)
• Green Chili -2
• Hing- 1
• Coriander Powder _1 Tsp
• Black Pepper- ½ Tsp
• Cinnamon-1/2 inch piece

DIRECTIONS FOR APPLE POTATO SUBJI

  1. Wash, Clean, and cut Apple
  2. Make tomato puree
  3. Clean and cut Onion into small pieces
  4. Grate Ginger and cut Green Chili into small pieces
  5. In a frying Pan, add oil, Cumin seed, Hing, Ginger, and Green Chili
  6. Add cut Onion, Tomato Puree
  7. Add Red Chili, Turmeric, Salt Coriander Powder and let it cook. Also, add Cashew pieces
  8. In separate pan Saute Potato add whole spices Bay Leaf, Black pepper, Clove, Big Elachi (Black Cardamom) Cumin Seed and a little salt
  9. Add tomato Gravy made earlier, add a little water
  10. Add Apple when Potato are cooked tender Add Kasuri Methi
  11. Let it cook
  12. Delicious Apple Potato vegetable is Ready to Enjoy with Chapatti, Parantha, Nan or rice
